Had two daughters: Mary Anne Roberts of Athens, Ohio, and Theresa Cagney Morrison of Newport Beach. Was a model during the late 1930's, before beginning her acting career on stage at the Pasadena Playhouse. Her best film performance is considered to be in Quicksand (1950), as a femme fatale opposite Mickey Rooney.
